The 9th annual WKDU Electronic Music Marathon (EMM) at Drexel University went beautifully! There were amazing sets all around from such of variety of Djs and styles! It was great fun Here's my set - on a lovely crisp October Sunday afternoon --

I love to build my performance based on the situation, to make its sound unique and special. Collecting records, all kinds, is my passion! I had a radio show called "These Technotic Times" for several years at WTSR The College of New Jersey (and an Internet version of the same name for a bit), and did an online & email zine for a couple of years called, "The Technotic Times." The archives of it and the many, many reviews are online at www.technotica.com I was also a participant in the 2001 Red Bull Music Academy. ............................................................ I love the vibe music can create - one moment, you are sitting there feeling kinda, well, blah. And then, there's some music, and all the empty spaces seem to magically fill up! I have a need to share this great music I find - a Joy! Next year is the 10th, and I have a very special surprise in mind for then. athe charity chosen for 2006 was Strings for Schools, an organization that gets music programs back into our schools!!!
This set went great! I think it REALLY helped to have my son & husband playing Super Mario Bros on an ancient NES behind me (they set up the turntables/mixer in the stations inner lobby area) heehee
