This mix was recorded at the 2003 WKDU Electronic Music Marathon - it's an annual event at the Drexel University radio station to raise money for good causes - usually local arts. I wanted a special mix for this one, so I collected a bunch of 7"rs and arranged them semi-thematically/harmonically. enjoy!

It all started when I pause/edited mixtapes for my aerobics class in the 80's (can you say wikki wikki?) I've DJ'd raves, lounges, basements, forests radio, internet, clubs, coffeehouses, rooftops, art exhibits, etc! I love to build my performance based on the situation, to make its sound unique and special. Collecting records, all kinds, is my passion! I had a radio show called "These Technotic Times" for several years at WTSR The College of New Jersey (and an Internet version of the same name for a bit), and did an online & email zine for a couple of years called, "The Technotic Times." The archives of it and the many, many reviews are online at www.technotica.com I was also a participant in the 2001 Red Bull Music Academy. ............................................................ I love the vibe music can create - one moment, you are sitting there feeling kinda, well, blah. And then, there's some music, and all the empty spaces seem to magically fill up! I have a need to share this great music I find - a Joy!
